It’s almost time to get off the boat! That’s hard to believe. Today was a lazy day cruising. Mostly I spent the time organizing/packing up because they get you off the boat early in Vancouver. I had breakfast at the buffet…where I was introduced to a pretzel topped chocolate donut – it’s good but it isn’t Tim Horton’s (yes I got some at the Vancouver airport).

I finally made it the the steakhouse (Prime 7) for lunch. If you can believe it, I did not drink at lunch. I did have a lovely burger. I also skipped dessert. Again, you can tell I’ve had enough.

There were some casino tournaments going, so I watched those for a bit. It confirmed that I’m not a gambler and never will be. It stresses me out to see how quickly fortunes are won and lost. I think everyone was having fun, except this one older drunk man playing black jack who wanted a new deck of cards or something. The pit manager was having to work overtime to settle this guy down.

We had our solo happy hour and then an unexpected treat – our last meal was at Chartreuse. Clearly I love this restaurant. I enjoyed a lovely beet salad for my 1st course, followed by lamb chops as an entree. I couldn’t not have dessert for my last meal, so forced myself to eat an apple tarte.

The last show of the cruise is called Crew Capers or Krew Kapers – it’s the non-entertainment crew performing in a talent show. It’s very cute and sweet and a lovely way to end the cruise.

No wild night. I needed to finish packing!
