I was hoping to have some amazing gossip to share here…either really bad or really good dating experiences. Unfortunately for me I’ve got nothing new to report.
It’s amazing to me the amount of free advice I get from married persons…especially when they haven’t been in the dating world since college. I’m so happy they found love in college, but let’s be real. It’s easy to meet in college – there are classes, mixers, social clubs where there are members of the opposite sex in your age range.
When you are in your 50s, there aren’t so many opportunities. I don’t have children, so I don’t have a school function to act as a conduit. My hobbies are perhaps not attractive to a male: I like to sing in a choir, I like the theater (either in a production or attending a production), I like crocheting and I love my dog Mavis…who barks at anyone and anything that comes nearby. She is definitely not conducive to meeting anyone, male or female.

My goal this week is to send a like or message at least 5 gentlemen. I’ve widened my discover/search to just about all over. I’ll let you know if my scattershot approach is successful
