This is a silly gratitude challenge that I hope you’ll appreciate! Today let’s be grateful for pillows! Prior to their creation, where did we lay our head? On the cold hard ground!
Fun fact: The oldest known pillow dates back to Mesopotamia over 9,000 years ago. The ancient Egyptians also used these types of pillows, but they were more interested in protecting the head because it was seen as the spiritual center of their bodies — comfort was strictly optional.
I love pillows! I sleep with one between my knees and probably 6 on my bed, not including 3 decorative pillows that are displayed during the day. I’m grateful for their support and cushioning.
I will even accept pillow-top mattress covers (which I also love!)
