It’s that time of year again – Pollen Season! I grew up in Atlanta, so I would have thought I’d have some built up tolerance to the pollen that floats around excessively in the Spring – especially since my parent’s home was surrounded by the usual suspects (pine, oak, chestnut).

Lately the pollen count has been ridiculous. Even if you aren’t allergic, the levels are so high it would be near impossible to not be effected.

Congratulations to Atlanta for shattering the 35 year pollen record!

If I really wanted to make a challenge for you, I’d ask you to find a way to be grateful for the pollen. Instead today’s challenge is the panacea – allergy medicine.

I took a fake Benadryl (Kroger version) this morning and am already feeling more clear headed.

I am SO grateful the solution to these pollen woes is so readily available and reasonably priced so all can be relieved of the sniffing and sneezing, even if it is only temporary.
