Happy New Year! Welcome to 2025!

Let’s start the new year with a gratitude challenge for beginning a new year!

There’s something very refreshing about 1/1. We have a clean slate to start new good habits and break old bad habits.

I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given in the past as well as for the opportunities I’m given each and every day.

In work, one of the performance review styles is stop, start and continue. So today’s challenge is to apply that to your personal life!

Stop – I’d like to stop dwelling on the past (getting better at that); I’d like to stop eating Chick-fil-A. That may be a stretch goal. I don’t eat Chick-fil-A often, but I do get a craving from time to time. I’m at the age where anything fried is verboten. It’s time to stop eating fried chicken and french fries.

Continue – I’d like to continue this blog; I’d like to continue my business; I’d like to continue staying present (no looking back and no worrying about the future); I’d like to continue my focus on health and healthy weight loss

Start – I’d like to learn something new: thinking about an instrument or maybe Hot Yoga or maybe knitting. I’d like to go to a new country or to a state I haven’t visited.

What would you like to stop, start or continue in 2025?
