By This morning I received a knock on my door from Chad, who I presume by his hard hat and yellow vest is doing something construction related in the neighborhood. Chad was letting me know they were going to have to cut the power this afternoon as they try to fix another unit’s electricity problems. That is my inspiration for today’s gratitude challenge.
Electricity keeps our world running…how often do you take it for granted? If you watch tv at night, thank electricity. If you turn on the lights as you walk upstairs or read in bed at night, thank electricity. If you keep your house at a very cool 73 degrees in the summer time, thank electricity (and air conditioning).
In short, we all take electricity for granted…so just for today take a moment and recognize how much you use and be grateful that it is there.
